I have decided to come up with this World of Warcraft fishing guide in order to guide and teach you how to level up as easily and quickly as possible. I have not covered what probably is unnecessary and a waste of time.
Knowing that I'm going to teach fishing in this World of Warcraft Fishing Guide, I've also included some cooking skills, since they are companion skills and may be learned at the same time.
This guide will take place in 15 hours, or 11 if you are fast.
Why does your skill rate change
A player’s skill rate increases due to the number of successful catches he makes.
Here is the fairly accurate equation:
(current unmodified fishing level - 25) / 25 = # of fish needed to level, assuming that there's a minimum number of fish per catch.
You should be conscious that your skill rate changes depending on the number of successful catches that you make. It only quite depends on the number of successful catches you make.
WoW Fishing Guide - Horde
1. Start at Bloodhoof Village in Mulgore.
2. Speak to Harn Longcast, and purchase the recipes Billiant Smallfish and Longjaw Mud Snapper.
3. After that, you must go to Stonebull Lake where you may begin fishing.
4. Equip your rod, and afterwards, apply the shiny bauble as a bait. This makes fishing a lot easier!
5. Spend approximately 40 minutes in catching 60 Brilliant Smallfish.
6. After those 40 odd minutes, you should have also caught about 30 Longjaw Mud Snappers. Once you have 60 of them already, proceed to cooking them. You can return to Harn Longcast and use his fire, or spark your own.
7. Cook Brilliant Smallfish.
8. You may begin cooking the Longjaw Mud Snappers upon reaching level 50.
9. Then, start catching Longjaw Mud Snappers in the pond in Orgrimmar. I suggest that when you get there, stay where you are because the drop rate is better in Orgrimmar.
10. Learn journeyman cooking and fishing somewhere between the levels 50 and 70.
11. To be able to raise your cooking rate up to 100, catch at least 30 Longjaw Mud Snappers.
12. Head to Tarren Mill in Hillsbrad. See the Derak Nightfall and buy the Bristle Whisker Catfish recipe.
13. In order to get your cooking level up to 175, you will need about 80-100 of these.
14. Between levels 125 and 150, go to Shadowprey Village in Desolace and purchase Expert Cookbook.
15. Then, go to Booty Bay and purchase a book needed for your fishing level. Talk to an old man heming and buy again his Expert Fishing book.
16. Once you reach 175 cooking, go to Shadowprey Village in Desolace.
17. Speak to Wulan and purchase Mithril Head Trout recipe, then begin fishing at the pier.
18. For you to raise your cooking level up to 225, you must get about 60 of these.
You should have raised your level in fishing and cooking to 225 after following these 18 steps. This is the farthest you could reach if you have not gone up to level 35 just yet. But if likewise, you will have 2 quests to complete before continuing.
